AM Half Day Enrichment Programs
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Elementary Enrichment
For Kindergarten to 5th grade - This half-day course covers topics in reading, writing, and mathematics. Keep up, catch up or get a head start for the upcoming school year. This course focuses on reviewing and strengthening skills of the previous grade level and to prepare students for transition into the entering grade.
Middle School Enrichment
or 6th to 8th grade - This is a skills-based course that will emphasize mastery of middle school math, reading, and writing skills. Small class size will allow for the instructor to assess each student’s specific needs. This class will strengthen understanding of the fundamental math, reading, and writing concepts needed to be successful in upper-level courses. This is a non-credit course.
High School Enrichment
For 9th to 12th grade - This is a skills-based course that will emphasize mastery of high school math, reading, and writing skills. Small class size will allow for the instructor to assess each student’s specific needs. This class will strengthen understanding of the fundamental math, reading, and writing concepts needed to be successful in upper-level courses. This is a non-credit course.

- Math summer credit courses taken prior to the summer before 9th grade do not earn credit towards ARA’s math graduation requirements.
- ARA students must attend BOTH sessions of all credit courses, unless given prior approval by Administration.

- For 9th to 12th grade. 0.5 credits per session. Prerequisite: Pre Algebra.

- For 9th to 12th grade. 0.5 credits per session. Prerequisite: Algebra 1
English Composition 1 - Session 1 and 2
- For 9th to 12th grade. 1 credit for attending both sessions.

- For 9th to 12th grade. 1 credit for attending both sessions. Prerequisite: English Composition 1 or equivalent

Group Swim Lesson
The goal for swimmers in these classes is to develop swimming ability and confidence in the water. Emphasis is placed on mastering fundamental & safety skills in the water. Classes are divided based on experience levels from beginners who will not put their heads underwater when asked to swimmers who can do the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly and would like to refine their skills. Lessons are scheduled for 30-minute classes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the hours of the session registered for. Group swim lessons are only available for students registered in full-day or half-day summer programs.
